Utah Free Media (UtahFM.org) is a forum for the people, music and ideas that populate Utah. In addition to the live-stream and archives we offer, UtahFM’s core quality of community means that we can extend ourselves in ways traditionally thought outside the realm of public radio – unique and captivating partnerships with neighboring organizations that deliver on similar aims as ours – great culture, unique and engaging experiences. From our downtown, Salt Lake City studio, Utah Free Media can grow to become a major community force – the truly community radio force of Salt Lake City that is liberated from entanglements of various natures that notoriously encumber other radio endeavors. We are unabashedly driven by grassroots broadcast enthusiasts. While we run our station professionally and take our commitment to quality seriously, we are, ultimately, just plain enthusiasts of great public broadcasting. We create programming out of the matter that tickles our souls, and will in turn, tickle those of others. Our collective interests, passions, connections, knowledge, experience and drive will make this station a unique and invaluable source for authentic community programming.
