The Painted Pony Restaurant is a locally owned business in St. George, Utah. It is located in the heart of Downtown St. George in the historic Ancestor Square. It serves contemporary American seasonal cuisine with a relaxed casual fine dining atmosphere. The chef utilizes local organic gardeners for most of its produce and designs the menu around what is in season. The catch of the day features a sustainable fish that is in season and is flown in on demand directly from the fisheries. The Painted Pony is a proud sponsor of the new Downtown Farmers Market in Ancestor Square. The Market runs every Saturday morning from 8am - noon in the courtyard. It features local organic produce, local artists, bakers, craftsman and live music, hot coffee and fresh pastries. The Painted Pony Restaurant opened in 2001.
