Imagination Place: Children explore, expand, create, giggle, and think! Programs are taught in an environment that celebrates the natural wonder your child possesses. Our teachers are formally educated in music and/or early childhood development. Classes offered: Private Lessons, ages 6–99, where we emphasize putting the "play" back into playing an instrument through improvisation and creative exploration. Thirty-minute lessons are offered in piano, voice, guitar, and violin. Musical Bridge, ages 4 1/2–6, teaches music theory through rhythm games and tonal activities, preparing children for any musical instrument. Imagination Workshop, ages 3 1/2–10, intertwines music, art, dance, yoga, theatre, Brain Gym®, and drumming while teaching basic life skills such as focusing, centering emotions, and communication. Music Together is an internationally recognized program celebrating its 20th anniversary. Think of us as an itsy bitsy Woodstock. We’re spreading harmony with our music and movement program. Our exciting family classes are filled with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their grownups. All free to move, sing, play instruments, and have fun. Our books are carefully chosen to introduce children to the performing and visual artists and inspire movement, diversity, family values, self respect and environmental responsibility. We carry the full Putumayo line of children’s CD’s and more, popular for diverse world music and it's inkind efforts. Our Manhattan Toy Puppetto puppets are designed especially for children’s little hands and fingers and our Sarah's Silks dressup for boys and girls are versatile, enchanting and insiring a child's imagination.
