The Utah Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association and the University of Utah Health Care Parkinson's Disease Information and Referral Center (IRC) work very closely together. Our common goals are: * to support research to find a cure for Parkinson's disease * to ease the burden of living with Parkinson's disease, and * to provide those with Parkinson's disease the tools to maximize their quality of life. Living well with Parkinson's disease requires more than the right prescription medication or surgery. Our primary purpose is to empower those with Parkinson's with the information and resources they need to take advantage of available health care options. The APDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to easing the burden while finding the cure for Parkinson's disease.
