For 75 years, the Salt Lake Art Center has encouraged the presentation of artwork by local, national and international contemporary visual artists, offering the community thought-provoking exhibitions, educational programming and publications. Our Art Talks series provides audiences an opportunity to meet and talk to artists, curators, educators and fellow art enthusiasts to help further understanding of the exhibitions.

In addition the Salt Lake Art Center houses a retail outlet for specialized art books, exhibition catalogs, and contemporary art journals and periodicals. The Salt Lake Art Center School offers a full curriculum of classes and workshops for adults in ceramics and photography (tuition and lab fees apply).
